Carnival Hits

August 18, 2017

There’s no better way to unite communities, ethnicities, beliefs or religions than through music. That’s why, as one of the most dynamic celebrations of London's multicultural diversity, Notting Hill Carnival continues to be one of the world’s largest spectacles.

With its humble origins dating back to a small town hall festival during the 60s, the carnival has grown year upon year; each becoming more vibrant, colourful and flamboyant than the other.  From marching steel bands and exotic headdresses through to blazing sound systems and fiery food, the streets of Kensington and Chelsea truly inherit a sense of Caribbean culture.

Now, with carnival taking place in just over a week, we’ve selected the biggest Soca, Dancehall and Reggae tunes to kick off the season and beyond in the best bacchanal, jump up, get on bad, way!

Including hits from Chaka Demus & Pliers, Cutty Ranks, Beenie Man, Buji Banton and so many more, ‘Carnival Hits’ is the quintessential soundtrack to your festivities. What’s more, with an exclusive continuous DJ mix specially compiled by our in house experts, there’s no excuse to let the riddims run dry.

So, it’s time to dig out your most lively outfit, blow your loudest whistle and let the season begin!

‘Carnival Hits’ is available to pre-order here and will be available across all digital platforms on August 21st.
