Following the release of her ‘Debut’ album in 2017, Lyn Gerald is back with a brand new single, a brand new sound and a brand new name. Produced by Lloyd Brown and remixed by Nick Manasseh of Manasseh sound-system, ‘Big Mistake’ is LYNZYON’s venture into the world of roots and dub. Listen here.
Prior to her album, LYNZYON forged a name for herself as one of the industry’s most sought after backing vocalists. It’s no surprise that, after having performed on Womack and Womack’s ‘Teardrops’, worked with Massive Attack’s Shara Nelson and supported artists like Luciano, Bitty McLean and Sylvia Tella, LYNZYON’s influences draw from across all genres and soundscapes.
‘Big Mistake’ is a culmination of such and marks the next step in LYNZYON’s journey as a solo artist.
The official music video will premiere on Reggaeville this Sunday, 20th December.
