Wayne Wonder – Hot Shots

Known irrefutably as one of Jamaica’s most influential modern singer-songwriters, it’s no surprise that Wayne ‘Singso’ Wonder not only has a string of hits to his name, but also his own record label and numerous side projects.

After working alongside the likes of King Tubby and Dave Kelly during the formative years of his career, Wonder has produced a vast catalogue of over fifteen revolutionary Reggae Dancehall albums. All of which have been received to high acclaim with the Buff Bay native reaching number two in the US Reggae Charts and his hit single, No Letting Go, peaking at number three in the UK in 2003.

However, Wayne Wonder is perhaps most celebrated for the scorching sounds of tracks including You, Me & She, Searching Dem Searching and the Al B Sure cover of Night & Day. All of which feature on the third instalment of Jet Star’s Hot Shots series which is available to stream or download here.
